Assigning Agents and Vendors

Assign Agents (Protection Level Subscribers)

Administrators can assign internal agents to a plan/request. However, they cannot add vendor agents to a plan.

  • Click on the “Transportation” page.

  • Click on the transportation plans/request.

  • Click on the “Assign Agents” link.

  • Add the agents you wish to assign to this plan/request (agents must be onboarded before you can add them).

  • Click submit.

Add Vendors to a Plan/Request

Only administrators can request vendor support and assign a vendor to a plan/request.

  • Click on the “Transportation” page.

  • Click on the transportation plans/request.

  • Click on the “Assign Vendor” link.

  • Select the vendor you wish to add in the “vendor company” field.

  • Select the supplier you want the request to be received by.

  • Click “Submit”.

  • Select “Yes” under the “make principles visible to vendor agents” if you wish to do so. You can change this later if you like.

  • Click “Submit”.

  • Repeat if using multiple vendors.

The vendor’s supplier will receive a request they can accept or reject depending on their ability to fulfill the request. If a vendor rejects the request, they will be removed from the plan/request, but the administrator needs to confirm the removal of their access.

Remove Vendor from a Plan/Request

Only administrators can remove a vendor from a plan/request.

  • Click on the “Transportation” page.

  • Click on the transportation plans/request.

  • Click “Send” in the “cancel” field under the assigned vendors section.

  • Click on “remove access” under the “confirm” field to ensure access to the plan/request is removed.

The vendor will receive an email stating that you have canceled the request. Vendor terms and services may dictate whether the administrator’s company potentially owes fees for cancellation. Predictions does not control or dictate vendor terms of service or fees.
