Job Description:

As a Standby Security Guard with Morton Executive Decisions, you will be responsible for providing on-call and on-demand security services across multiple locations within South Carolina. Your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of our clients, their assets, and personnel. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to travel as needed. This is not a full time position!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to requests for on-call security coverage across various client sites.

  • Conduct security patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce access control.

  • Provide a visible presence to deter security breaches and maintain order during emergencies.

  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.

  • Complete detailed incident reports, documenting any security-related issues.

  • Assist with crowd control and event security for special occasions or emergencies.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • South Carolina Security Guard License.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects as necessary.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Willingness to travel within South Carolina with short notice.
